Nov 29, 2015 · You will need a router that offers DHCP and two cables. Plug each Xbox into the router and it should allow the two to communicate with each other. Note, however, that how much success you have playing will greatly depend on the game.
I have 2 routers both TP-LINK WR840N (Main router is prev. Gen) and I'm using them to extend the reach of my connection. So, I decided to go with this Guide to do it. Disabled the DHCP on my second router, Rebooted but as I changed my IP, It doesn't connect to my phone. I tried with my Laptop but it shows limited and blank in the IP address Plug in your WiFi Adapter and clip it on to the back of the Xbox 360 and turn on the console. Doesn't even get to the password prompt - we tried adding the MAC address to the allowed list, changing the wireless channel, manually setting IP/Gateway/DNS, no luck - xbox one can connect to other networks just fine - other devices
